Dragan Filipović is the Chairman of the Executive Board of Generali Osiguranje Serbia and the Board of Directors of Generali Osiguranje Montenegro since January 1, 2016. In the same year, he became a member of the Generali Leadership Group, which consists of 200 of the most prominent managers within the Generali Group, a company with 70,000 employees worldwide.

He joined the Generali team in 2011 as Deputy CEO and a member of the Executive Board, responsible for commercial affairs, non-life insurance sales, and product development.  

Dragan Filipović began his career in 1994 at Delta Holding, where he served as General Manager, overseeing multiple profit centers, including Delta DMD, Delta Automoto, and Delta Chem. From 2002 to 2010, he was the CEO of Delta Maxi, the retail chain of Delta Holding. During this period, Delta Maxi experienced rapid growth, evolving from a national to a regional leader in retail and expanding from Serbia to Bulgaria, Albania, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.  

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade. 

Dragan Filipović has received numerous accolades for his leadership and contributions to business development: 

  • Manager of the Year (2003): Awarded by the Business Journalists’ Club (Belgrade) for his professionalism and creativity.,  
  • International Quality Award (2008): Received in Geneva. (2008),  
  • Planeta Biznis Manager of the Year (2019): Presented by the Biznis Magazin for his successful company management and contributions to the development of the insurance industry in Serbia (Belgrade, 2020),  
  • Manager of the Year (2021): Presented by the Serbian Association of Managers for exceptional business results and a visionary approach to business. 
  • Employer of the Year (2022): Awarded to Generali Insurance Serbia by the Serbian Association of Managers. 
  • "Leader of Business Excellence" Award  
  • Leader in Business Excellence (2023) and Oscar for Quality (2023): Presented by the Foundation for Culture of Quality and Excellence in collaboration with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia.
